Rosie is a all natural skincare and make-up line that was created with health conscious worldly women in mind. Rosie’s mission is to empower women to embrace their natural beauty and not cover it up. They focus on using minimal organic ingredients in their products. The name “Rosie” was chosen for this brand because of its play on words, rosy cheeks and roses. The serif typography used in the logo reflects natural and humanistic qualities of the brand and the rose represents the femininity. The color scheme was pulled from a nature photo. It is soft and muted and further solidifies femininity. The packaging is minimal, using just color and woodgrain to reflect the organic products inside.

Ever since its establishment in 1917, Nikon has been focusing on light and expanding the possibilities of light as a pioneer of optical technologies to the world. Trustworthiness and creativity are important words to Nikon and they represent unchanging principles that they will always be dedicated.
Redesign The goal for this project was to redesign Nikon’s logo and create a new branding system to be used on a series of collateral pieces. The new branding system has an editorial appeal to it and stays true to Nikon’s values while adding an edge.
The last figure demonstrates how I was able to design within the existing Nikon brand identity.
High Tide is a ocean front bar with a causal beach atmosphere. It’s somewhere where you can walk off the beach, grab a drink and watch the sunset. With the use of ocean blue, a bright tone of coral and a hand drawn pineapple, which is a symbol of hospitality, High Tide is able to convey its laid back friendly atmosphere and embrace their slogan: High Tides and Good Vibes.
Largo Ridge Wines
Largo Ridge Wines is a small batch wine company that my sister and I started about two years ago. We use our family’s grapes to make a Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our winemaking style is fresh and genuine, we want to make wines that people aren’t intimated by and you are able to sit around and enjoy them with or without food.
Our branding system is based on the idea of nostalgia and how wine, like music and photography, can take you to a time and place. The neon sign inspired logo is meant to reflect that idea as well as the energy and hospitality of our business.
The labels are each a unique polaroid that are meant to set scene for the wine and where we see it.

ToyBox is a shopping app that is safe and easy to use for children and convenient for parents. The challenge for this was to create a safe space for young children to pick out toys without the the threat of the internet. We achieved this by giving parents the control of purchasing, creating store and toy preferences, password protecting the account, and creating an interface that is easy to navigate for a non-reading child.
How it Works Parents A parent downloads the app, creates an account with their shopping preferences and makes a ToyBox for each of their children with their toy and brand preferences. After the account is created the parent can hand the phone off to one of their children and they can go through the curated toy selection and pick out toys based on characters and brands. The toys they save will go into their ToyBox where the parent can then go in with their password and purchase the toys from their preferred stores.
Children The home screen of the app is curated with toys based on the specific child’s toy preferances. The scroll bar at the top of the screen is the child’s preferred brands. They can either scroll endlessly at the curated screen of if they recognize the brand at the top they can click on it and the page will be filtered to show the characters within that brand. They can then choose their favorite character and the screen is filled with all the all toys based on that character.
Naked eye is an app created for photographers to share their work and connect with other people in the industry. The challenge was to create an easy to navigate interface that allows users to customize their own profiles, communicate with other users, and upload photos. I achieved this by designing an interface that allows the users to create a color scheme for their profile based on the aesthetic of their photography, encouraging them to showcase their unique brand. The layout of the app was designed to highlight the photography and make it intuitive to navigate to photographers’ profiles. I had users test the app throughout the design process to ensure a quality experience.
